Resolved, That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision for securing and controlling the enlistment of men for service in the armed forces of the Crown; and for purposes connected with the matter aforesaid, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred by the Minister of Labour or by any Secretary of State or other Minister of the Crown in consequence of the passing of the said Act or of the making of any Order in Council there under." — (King's recommendation signified.) — [Sir J.
