§ Mr. EDENAs hon. Members are aware, a Treaty of Alliance with Egypt was signed in London on 26th August. I understand that the treaty will come before the Egyptian Parliament in the near future. As I stated on 27th July, the treaty will not be ratified by His Majesty's Government until there has been an opportunity for it to be fully debated in Parliament.
