§ Mr. ELLIOTOf the six houses on this estate which have been declared defective, one has been replaced and occupied; three are being replaced by houses in process of erection and expected to be completed by the end of the year; and the local authority, in virtue of their powers under the Housing Acts, have approached the Department for land on which to erect houses to replace the remaining two.
