§ Mr. EDENI am aware of the newspaper report to which I presume the hon. Member refers regarding the alleged conclusion of a reciprocal defensive agree 949 ment between Poland and Japan. Such information as we have received indicates that the report is without foundation.
§ Mr. MANDERDo I understand my right hon. Friend to say that he is in a position to deny the existence of any such treaty?
§ Mr. EDENThe hon. Member must understand that such information as I have shows that the report has no foundation.
