HC Deb 16 December 1935 vol 307 c1393
39. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Minister of Agriculture what steps, if any, he proposes to take to amend the hardships and difficulties that have been discovered in the working of the Land Drainage Act?

Mr. ELLIOT

I can hold out no hope of being able to introduce an amending Bill during the present Session, but I should be glad to consider any cases of hardship brought forward by the right hon. Gentleman.
