Yes, Sir. It is provided in the Treaties of Washington Act, 1922, that no ships of war may be exported without a licence from the Admiralty, in order to ensure that the treaty provisions are observed. As the answer to the second part of the question is in tabular form, I will, with the hon. Member's permission, circulate it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

The dates mentioned by my hon. Friend are the earliest dates on which notice of termination of the trade agreement mentioned may be given. The agreements may be terminates by six months' notice given on any subsequent date. I have no doubt that the effect of these agreements on the British trawl industry will be among the matters to which the Sea Fish Commission will give their attention.
