HC Deb 27 April 1933 vol 277 c254
33. Lord APSLEY

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether his Department are able to supply any information as to the correct method of constructing dew ponds, in view of the value and cheapness of this form of water supply to farmers in upland districts in times of drought?

Major ELLIOT

Information on the construction of dew ponds is contained in certain publications, to which correspondents who apply to the Ministry on this subject from time to time are referred. If my Noble Friend so desires, I shall be happy to send him a list of these publications.

Mr. LAWSON

May I ask why the right hon. Gentleman cannot explain the pond to the House?
