HC Deb 10 April 1933 vol 276 c2176
46. Mr. COCKS

asked the Prime Minister whether he can make any statement on the present position of the negotiations for a Four-Power Pact?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Ramsay MacDonald)

I understand that the subject is to be raised during the Debate on the Adjournment on Thursday.

Mr. COCKS

Will the Prime Minister bear in mind that any Pact which involves any concessions to the present German Government will be instantly repudiated by the British people?

The PRIME MINISTER

I am sure that the House is well aware that there is no such Pact under contemplation.
