HC Deb 03 April 1933 vol 276 c1417
30. Captain HEILGERS

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether the inquiry into the marking of imported meat and poultry has been postponed; and if so, how long a postponement is contemplated?

Major ELLIOT

Arrangements were made to continue this inquiry to-day, but owing to the inability of all the interested parties to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, it was found necessary to cancel the arrangements. I understand that the proceedings will be resumed at the earliest practicable date. My hon. and gallant Friend may like to know that the committee has already submitted a report on the marking of imported bacon and ham.
