HC Deb 07 November 1932 vol 270 cc12-3
25. Mr. GLOSSOP

asked the Minister of Agriculture if he will take steps to revise the personnel of the selection board which has the appointment of livestock officers in such a way that one-third of the members are practical agriculturists?

The MINISTER of AGRICULTURE (Major Elliot)

The selection board consists of three persons, one of whom is the Ministry's Livestock Commissioner, who has a practical knowledge and experience of farming and livestock breeding. Effect is therefore already given to my hon. Friend's suggestion as to the composition of the Board.
