HC Deb 15 March 1932 vol 263 c169
22. Mr. MACPHERSON

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is now in a position to make a statement with regard to agricultural credits in Scotland?

Sir A. SINCLAIR

I am glad to be able to inform the House that I have reason to believe the outstanding questions on which negotiations have been proceeding with the four participating banks will shortly be settled, and that the further steps necessary for setting up the Scottish Agricultural Securities Corporation will then proceed.
