HC Deb 15 June 1932 vol 267 cc380-1
7. Mr. NEIL MACLEAN

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any further information regarding the slave raiding in the British Sudan; and, if so, whether it can be made public?

Mr. EDEN

I cannot at present add anything to the particulars circulated in reply to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Chippenham (Captain Cazalet) on 6th June.

Mr. MACLEAN

Will the hon. Gentleman state whether he is making further inquiries, and when he is likely to have further information?

Mr. EDEN

The hon. Member will appreciate that these frontier meetings take some time to produce results. I will gladly let him know when we hear anything further.
