HC Deb 07 December 1932 vol 272 cc1595-6
3. Duchess of ATHOLL

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the British Ambassador in Iraq has authority to offer the services of the British Air Force in Iraq to the Iraqi Government in the event of internal disorder; and, if so, what means of information are at the disposal of the Ambassador to enable him to decide whether such an offer would be advisable?

Mr. EDEN

I would refer the Noble Lady to the reply given by the Prime Minister on the 16th November to my hon. Friend the Member for Wolverhampton East (Mr. Mander), to which I have nothing to add.
