HC Deb 23 July 1931 vol 255 c1669
52. Mr. DAY

asked the Minister of Health whether he has any records and can state the number of samples of milk alleged to have been pasteurised that have been found by local authorities on examination to contain tubercle bacillus during the previous 12 months?

Mr. GREENWOOD

I regret that I have no records which would enable me to give the figures asked for.

Mr. DAY

Will the right hon. Gentleman consider asking the local authorities to make reports to him on those examinations?

Mr. GREENWOOD

I am always unwilling to put new responsibilities on local authorities, if I can avoid it.
