§ The MINISTER of HEALTH (Mr. Arthur Greenwood)Many reports have been issued by Advisory Regional Committees, but these are far from being approved schemes. No regional schemes have been approved, though many proposals of a regional character are embodied in approved town plans or pre- 608 liminary statements, and several have been or are being carried out by Local Authorities. I am not at present satisfied that any useful purpose would be served by such a committee as that suggested, but the matter is being further considered.
