SMITHasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the increase of municipal trading, he will consider the desirability of introducing legislation making it compulsory upon all local authorities to furnish to ratepayers such details of the methods employed and the business carried on and to give to them such information as may be demanded by shareholders in the case of transactions carried out by public companies undertaking the same kind of work?
