Mr. ALEXANDERThe reply to the first part of the question is in the negative. With regard to the second part these tugs had sufficient life belts on board for everyone. Although it is improbable that Carley floats would be of much help in conditions such as prevailed in the recent gales, arrangements have already been made for the provision of them to all such vessels.
