Mr. HENDERSONIn certain cases where a member of the force agreed to advance the date of his retirement in order to meet the convenience of the police authority, the pension has been reassessed as though the man had continued to serve after 1st April, 1919.

Mr. HENDERSONNo Sir; I do not think there is any analogy between the two cases. Police pensions like other civil pensions are regulated by Statute upon principles which. I understand, are quite different from those which apply to naval or military pensions.
