HC Deb 26 February 1924 vol 170 c242
48. Mr. LANSBURY

asked the Prime Minister if he is now able to make a statement in reference to the pensions of ranker officers?

The LORD PRIVY SEAL (Mr. Clynes)

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer given by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister yesterday in reply to a question by the hon. and gallant Member for Devonport (Major Hore-Belisha).

Captain BERKELEY

Is there any possibility that the Prime Minister will be able to make a statement on this matter on going into Committee of Supply on the Army Estimates, seeing that a Motion for this purpose stands on the Paper?

Mr. CLYNES

Without being able to give a definite pledge, I think that there is such a possibility.
