HC Deb 05 December 1922 vol 159 c1471
Mr. LANSBURY

I wish to present to the House the following petition: We, the elected representatives of the 2,000 unemployed workers who have marched to London from all the principal towns and districts in Great Britain, petition you, the right hon. the Speaker, and the right hon. and hon. Members of the House of Commons to allow our representatives to attend before the Bar of your honourable House and present to you and to the Members thereof the grievous position that 2,000,000 workers and their families find themselves in through unemployment.
