HC Deb 17 November 1919 vol 121 c600
32. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any information as to the condition of Ukrainian prisoners of war in Poland; and whether he will call for a Report from our representative in Poland?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Mr. Cecil Harmsworth)

In reply to the first part of my hon. and gallant Friend's question, I have seen a Report, though not of a recent date, on the various camps in which Ukrainian prisoners of war are interned. Conditions generally were described as good, but there was complaint of overcrowding. The answer to the second part of the question is in the negative.
