§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe dockyard workmen employed on His Majesty's ship "King George V." were employed elsewhere on the day of His Majesty's visit, and received their usual pay. No doubt the hon. Member has in mind the case of the men employed by the machinery and gun-mounting contractors, as to whom I am making further inquiry. It would certainly not be the wish of the Admiralty that they should suffer any financial loss in the circumstances.
