HC Deb 21 May 1910 vol 116 cc351-2
3. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Secretary of State for India whether he will lay Papers in connection with the deportation from Bombay of Mr. B. G. Horniman, editor of the ''Bombay Chronicle"; has Mr. Horniman been told specifically the charge that has been made against him; and will he explain the reasons for this action being taken by the local government against this Englishman?

Mr. FISHER

I understand that the Secretary of State proposes to deal with the matter in the Debate on the Indian Budget to-morrow.
