HC Deb 16 March 1910 vol 15 cc345-6
Mr. WEDGWOOD

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention had been called to the sentences of six months' and four months' hard labour, with the possible addition of one year's hard labour in default of finding sureties, passed on two poachers by the Belvoir bench; and whether these sentences would be revised and reduced?

Mr. MASTERMAN

The attention of the Secretary of State has not previously been called to this matter. Inquiries are being made.
