§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe mine was visited by an inspector on the 22nd instant in connection with an accident from fall of coal; on the 21st January for the special purpose of obtaining certain information required by the Department in regard to temperature; and on 6th December and 15th November for purposes of general inspection. Reports made by the inspectors are treated as confidential, but I may say the condition of the mine was found to be satisfactory.
