HC Deb 19 December 1908 vol 198 c2314
MR. J. MACVEAGH (Down, S.)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether he has received further representations as to the necessity for improving the postal arrangements at Downpatrick, County Down; and whether he can arrange to substitute a delivery at, say, three o'clock for one of the morning deliveries.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) I have received further representations on the question from the town commissioners, and am prepared to meet their wishes by substituting a delivery at 3 p.m. for the delivery now effected at 9.40 a.m.
