§ MR. REES (Montgomery Boroughs)I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the Government has decided to make any grant in aid of education in British Central Africa Protectorate.
§ MR. CHURCHILLA sum of £1,000 has been provided for the current financial year for this purpose, and the Commissioner has been asked to frame a scheme to be submitted to the Secretary of State, for the appropriation of the money in the best interests of native education.
