§ VISCOUNT TURNOURI beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he will cause inquiry to be made into the case of Richard Page, late of the 43rd Oxfordshire Light Infantry, who alleges that he is still suffering from the effects of disease contracted in South Africa, which prevents him, though he is not in receipt of a pension, from earning his living.
§ MR. HALDANENo application for a pension can be traced as having been received from this man; but if the noble Lord will furnish Page's address, together with any evidence that may be forthcoming to show that his present disability was caused by his service in South Africa, the case shall be inquired into.
