ALDENI beg to ask the Undersecretary of State for the Colonies whether he has any official information to the effect that General Botha has decided not to re-enact the Chinese Labour Ordinance; and, in the event of this being the case, could he state the date of expiration of the first contract and the number of Chinese to be repatriated on that date.
