HC Deb 06 August 1907 vol 179 c1824
MR. REES

I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether during his approaching visit to Africa he can arrange to spare a short time for the adjacent Protectorate of British Central Africa, wherein his presence would be much appreciated and would be productive of much benefit.

MR. CHURCHILL

I should greatly desire to visit Nyassaland, but I am afraid that such an extension of my journey would interfere with my duties to the House.
