HC Deb 11 May 1891 vol 353 c485
MR. HANBURY (Preston)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether, in future annual Returns of the British Army, in the table giving the ages of non-commissioned officers and men, he will state the ages of the non-commissioned officers separately, instead of, as hitherto, making no distinction between their ages and those of private soldiers?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. E. STANHOPE,) Lincolnshire, Horncastle

The suggested information could be given; and before the next annual Return is compiled I will consider whether it will be expedient to supply it, and, if so, in what form.
