Order read, for further Consideration of Postponed Resolution— 4. "That a sum, not exceeding £13,047, be granted to Her Majesty, to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1892, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Police Courts of London and Sheerness.

There is, I understand, a matron employed at each Court, and the Chief Commissioner has given instructions to the officers in charge of police stations to call in female servants where work has to be done amongst female prisoners.
