§ MR. RAIKESIn reply to the hon. Member, I am glad to say that I have arranged to have the telegraph extended to Eastchurch early in next financial year, as those who made application to me on the subject have already been 1701 informed. The extension cannot be carried out during the current financial year, as the whole of the money voted for works of this kind has been expended.
