HC Deb 20 February 1891 vol 350 c1231
EARL COMPTON

I beg to ask the Postmaster General whether the Central Telegraph Office buildings at Liverpool are unhealthy and unsatisfactory; and, if so, what steps he intends to take in the matter?

MR. RAIKES

Assuming that the noble Lord is referring to the head post office at Liverpool, I have to state that the special inquiry mentioned in my reply of December 8 last to the hon. Member for the Kirkdale Division has been made, and that the whole subject is now under the consideration of the Treasury.
