HC Deb 10 February 1891 vol 350 c306
MR. JAMES (Gateshead)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury to what balance the saving effected by the closing of the Chapel Royal, Whitehall, is carried, whether of the Civil List or of the Estimates.

THE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. JACKSON. Leeds, N.)

The expenditure on the Chapel Royal, Whitehall, was defrayed from the Civil List. Reductions of expenditure from the Civil List accrue to the Civil List.
