HC Deb 06 February 1891 vol 350 c146
SIR GEORGE BADEN-POWELL (Liverpool, Kirkdale)

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether Her Majesty's Government has yet received the Report of the Committee appointed by the Board of Trade to consider the recommendations of the International Maritime Conference held at Washington last year; and, if so, whether he can now state when their Report is likely to be laid upon the Table of the House?

THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRADE (Sir M. HICKS BEACH, Bristol, W.)

The Report of the Committee appointed by the Board of Trade to consider the alterations proposed at the Washington Maritime Conference in the International Regulations for the prevention of collisions at sea has been received, is now being considered, and will, I hope, shortly be laid before Parliament.
