§ Resolved, That it is expedient to authorise the Secretary of State in Council of India to raise in the United Kingdom, on the securities of the Revenues of India, any sum or sums of money, not exceeding in the whole the sum of £5,267,366 11s. 2d., for the purchase of the South Indian Railway, and for the discharge and redemption of debentures thereon.
