HC Deb 07 March 1890 vol 342 cc255-6
MR. TUITE (Westmeath, N.)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury if he will consider the case of those Second Division Clerks now serving in six-hour offices who have been promoted since the publication of the Commissioners' Second Report under thy Treasury Minute of December, 1886, with a view to granting them, if possible, on the conversion of the office day into seven hours, the additional £15 per annum enjoyed by Second Division Clerks already serving in seven-hour offices who have been promoted under exactly similar circumstances?

Me. JACKSON

I beg to inform the hon. Member that the attention of the Treasury has been drawn to the point raised by him, and it is under their consideration.
