STANHOPE,) Lincolnshire, HorncastleThe total amount to be paid to Mr. Brennan for his torpedo was £110,000, of which £30,000 was paid in a lump sum, and the balance at the rate of £16,000 a year for five years. These payments were recommended by the 1344 Secretary of State for the time being, after consultation with several military and naval officers.
