HC Deb 24 July 1890 vol 347 cc712-3
MR. LAWSON (St. Pancras, W.)

I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board when he means to introduce the Bill to amend those provisions of "The Local Government Act, 1888," which relate to the procedure of the London County Council?

* THE PRESIDENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. RITCHIE,) Tower Hamlets, St. George's

A Bill has been prepared dealing with certain questions relating to the financial arrangements of the London County Council, but I regret that there is no prospect of its becoming law this Session. We intend to introduce the Bill early-next Session.
