HC Deb 04 December 1890 vol 349 c541
MR. COX

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has received a copy of a resolution, adopted by the Ennistymon Board of Guardians, complaining of some recent decisions in that Union of the Land Sub-Commissioners (Messrs. James Greene, Chairman, J. Martin, and J. J. Ginny), as being in excess of the reductions the landlords offered beforehand, and entirely beyond the paying capabilities of the tenants; and whether he will direct the attention of the Land Commission to these facts?

MR. MADDEN

Any person aggrieved by a decision of a Sub-Commission can appeal. The Government cannot interfere.
