HC Deb 11 August 1890 vol 348 c524
MR. E. HARRINGTON

Has the right hon. Gentleman had any Report from the Local Government Inspector on Blasket Island? I have received a telegram stating that fever has broken out there, and that the unfortunate people are abandoned by the Local Government Board. Will the right hon. Gentleman despatch a gunboat to the island for the relief of the people?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

I will at once make inquiries on the subject.
