HC Deb 28 April 1890 vol 343 c1532
MR. CUNINGHAME GRAHAM

I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board if his attention has been directed to the recent case of the starvation of a docker's wife in the East End; and if it is possible to take measures to obviate these cases, two of which have occurred during the last fortnight?

*MR. RITCHIE

In reply to the hon. Member, I have to say that I have no information in regard to the cases to which he refers. If he will be good enough to furnish me with some particulars, I will take care that proper inquiry is made.
