HC Deb 24 April 1890 vol 343 c1280
MR. BRADLAUGH

I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether an Inspector has been recently sent into the Eastern Counties to investigate certain allegations of injuries arising from certain vaccinations performed by Dr. Masson, public vaccinator, or his substitute; whether the Inspector's Report has been received, and if he will cause such Report to be at once furnished to the Royal Commission on Vaccination; and whether, in the event of future cases of evils alleged to result from vaccination being brought to the notice of the Local Government Board, he will cause notice to be at once given to the Royal Commission?

*MR. RITCHIE

The Local Government Board have instructed one of their Inspectors to investigate the allegations of injuries arising from vaccination which are referred to. The Report of the Inspector has not yet been received. The facts, when ascertained, will be communicated to the Royal Commission on Vaccination. As regards the third question, the Board will be happy to meet, as far as they can, any wish which the Royal Commission may express on the matter.
