HC Deb 06 May 1889 vol 335 cc1232-3
MR. WILLIAM ABRAHAM (Limerick, W.)

asked the Solicitor General for Ireland when will the Sub-Commissioners for Limerick County give deci- sions in the land cases heard by them in February at Kilmallock and elsewhere; and have all the farms been examined; if not, what is the cause of delay in doing so?

THE SOLICITOR GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. MADDEN,) Dublin University

The Land Commissioners state that decisions have been given in all cases heard in the County Limerick in February except as regards those in Kilmallock Union. The cases in that Union were held in the last week in February, before the lay Assistant Commissioners had finished their inspections in the Croom Union, to avoid clashing with the assizes. The inspection in the Killmallock Union has now been nearly completed, and the decisions in these cases will shortly be given.
