HC Deb 08 March 1889 vol 333 cc1288-9
SIR J. SWINBURNE (Staffordshire, Lichfield)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether it is the case that the peasantry of Donegal during the past three weeks have been pursued by constables of the Royal Irish Constabulary with loaded firearms?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

I suppose the hon. Member refers to the persons accused of being concerned in the murder of District Inspector Martin. In reply, I have to say that they have been pursued.
