I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he can state when the Royal Commission on Civil Establishments will take evidence with regard to the Post Office?

I am informed that the Royal Commission on Civil Establishments have decided to make the Foreign Office the next subject of their inquiry; but they are unable to state whether or when they will take any evidence with regard to the Post Office.
