§ Resolved, That it is expedient to authorise a Grant out of the Consolidated Fund to the Scottish Universities Commissioners, to be applied for the purposes of the Universities under any Act of the present Session for the better Administration and Endowment of the Universities of Scotland; and also the payment, 562 out of moneys to be provided by Parliament, of remuneration to the secretary, clerks, and officers appointed, and of all expenses incurred under the provisions of the said Act.
