HC Deb 20 June 1889 vol 337 c314
MR. STOREY (Sunderland)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will lay upon the Table the depositions in the case of James Doyle, sentenced to hard labour for putting in his window a notice, "No bum-bailiffs or emergency men shod here"?

THE CHEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR,) Manchester, E.

I am unable to adopt the course suggested by the hon. Member. As far as I am aware there are no depositions which can be laid on the Table.
