HC Deb 18 June 1889 vol 337 c212
COLONEL NOLAN (Galway, N.)

I beg to move for a return of the areas in Great Britain and Ireland which would be flooded so as to seriously endanger human life. There has been so much in the papers recently about the bursting of dams, that I do not think it necessary to make any speech on the subject.

AN HON. MEMBER

I object.

COLONEL NOLAN

Surely the Government do not object?

* MR. SPEAKER

Objection has been taken.
